URGENT - PROJECT MANAGER - TANZANIA BASED PROJECT

The role of Project Manger is to plan, execute and monitor the works, liaise with the consultant, Project Budget control, maintenance of Quality, safety, health and environment, etc.

The duration of the project in which the candidate would be posted as Project Manager is 2 years. The main scope of civil works is construction of Raw Water Pumping Station, Flow Division Chamber, Clarifier, Filters, Treated water reservoir, treated water pumping station and interconnecting pipe works.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess degree in Engineering.
Post Graduate qualification in a management discipline a plus
5 - 10 years experience on similar position or deputy project type.

Horeca Executives

Job Purpose:
To develop and execute a national HORECA channel trade marketing plan which meets brand, volume and profit objectives

Key Accountability:
  • Develop and implement a national HORECA trade channel marketing plan which meets the objectives of the national trade marketing & distribution plan that is in line with brand strategy and the needs of the trade.
  • Manage key national HORECA trade customers through the development and implementation of HORECA account strategies and plans in order to maximise volume, presence and share performance.
  • Manage an efficient and effective national HORECA trade channel team in order that HORECA trade channel representation is superior to the competition in respect to both core and value added services.
  • Manage the distribution of company brands in order to ensure that availability and visibility is maximised in line with brand strategies and the needs of the market in the HORECA trade channel.
  • Implement national in-store marketing programmes in HORECA with optimum use of resource and materials in order to achieve the highest in-store visibility and sales performance of the key strategic brands by gaining the active support of the HORECA trade.
  • Gain high levels of HORECA trade support and loyalty by enhancing understanding of the HORECA trading environment and establishing close working relations with the HORECA trade.
  • Manage budgets and assets to ensure that HORECA channel trade marketing resources used in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
  • Provide HORECA channel trade marketing information and reports to ensure that the Head of Sales and Marketing and the Brand Marketing team are fully informed at all times.                 

Qualification/Experience:
  • Working with customers/ experience in Key Accounts/HORECA
  • Good understanding of how Key Accounts and HORECA operate
  • Appreciation of Category Management and merchandising principles
  • Direct experience of applying and coaching others, Outlet Segmentation, Managing Relationships, structured calling, persuasive selling and brand knowledge.
  • People management and coaching experience
  • Decision-making skills and input into the trade marketing strategy
  • Exposure to the wider Sales / Commercial and Marketing organisation
  • A business related degree or equivalent
  • Commercial experience.

Experience:
At least 2-3 years experience in a similar role.

Key Account Manager

Job Purpose:
To develop and execute a national trade marketing plan which meets brand, volume and profit objectives for each trade channel and account through the most effective and efficient utilisation of budgets and manpower in order to achieve national sales objectives.

Key Accountability:
  • Propose and develop category solution will ensure the brand has superior visibility and shelf stand out across all Key Account Outlets
  • Develop and deploy sales programs & selling propositions /tools to drive shelf off-take
  • Develop and execute category development programs that deliver mutual growth for Good Brands and Key Accounts (Nakumatt, Uchumi, Chadarana, Tuskys)
  • Develop merchandising standards for different types of outlets within Key Accounts and HORECA and plan-o-grams to ensure consistent display of the full brand range
  • Develop and implement a national trade marketing plan in line with brand strategy and the needs of the trade.
  • Manage the implementation of Key Account plans for merchandising and promotion in the outlets of account chains in order to achieve brand, volume and share objectives and targets.
  • Manage an efficient and effective trade marketing team through on-job training, retraining, motivation and staff development in order that trade marketing representation is superior to the competition in respect of both core and added value services.
  • Achieve agreed sales volume objectives

Qualification/Experience:

Distribution Manager Vacancy

Job Purpose:
The role has accountability for developing and sustaining relationships with a number of our key distributors. He develops and drives strategy and plans with distributors, has direct performance responsibility and a strong focus on working with distributors to develop the capability within their organisations. Distribution Manager is also accountable for leading the Distributor team and developing and driving plans with strategic Wholesalers/Stockists.

The role holder needs to build alignment across a number of Distributor partners and with a wide range of stakeholders, leading significant change through the distributor networks as well as the wider organisation.

Key Accountabilities:
This role is instrumental to ensuring that our brands are available at “arms reach” across our targeted channels. Accountabilities will include:
  • The role holder will be instrumental in causing this transformation across our customers by applying in depth knowledge of the operation of our Distributor partners, and creating mutually beneficial relationships to deliver business growth.
  • Deepening and broadening coaching capability, in particular by acting as a coach and advisor to our Distributor Partners and their teams.

Qualification/Experience:
  • A strong 8 – 12-year track record in sales and distribution at a management level ideally with experience in at least two areas in the Sales function including customer or distributor facing roles.
  • Good commercial understanding, P&L literacy, strong numerical skills, a high level of computer literacy and previous experience of financial/data are important.
  • In-depth of knowledge Selling and Distributor Management
  • Previous experience of managing/leading teams either directly or indirectly and a strong track record as a coach. Able to set a vision and inspire our distributor partners. Able to build true partnerships with distributors and internally with other functions.
  • Experience of working within and or with other functions and a track record of delivering results through cross functional teams, particularly marketing, supply and corporate relations is critical.
  • Supported by a business orientated professional or academic qualification
